Cihu Mausoleum
Cihu which translates as "benevolent lake" is a serene lakeside property near Daxi in Taoyuan county that has assumed the unfortunate responsibility of becoming a "boneyard" of sorts, just like the ones you will find in Arizona.This particular boneyard however is dedicated to Generalissimo and former President of the Republic of China - Chiang Kai Shek (蔣介石) and the statues that he (like every other dictator before and after him) had fashioned in his image.

Neiwan Old Street
Neiwan Old Street is in south-eastern Hsinchu county’s Hengshan township and next to Jianshi the beautiful Atayal area known for its mountains and rivers. The village is quite remote and is part of the reason I like it so much. It is nestled in the mountains next to a beautiful river and is quiet for at least five days of the week. On weekends the old street comes alive and is jam packed with tourists sampling many of the treats the street is famous for as well as the Hakka culture that is so prevalent in the area.

Wen Chang Temple
Built around 1825, this temple is dedicated to the “Scholar God.” Students frequently come to pray prior to exams to get good scores.

Lukang Folk Arts Museum
The Lukang Folk Arts Museum was established in 1973, with all the buildings, land, furniture, utensils and collector's items having been donated by the Koo family and other private benefactors. The museum holds more than 6,000 articles. The items exhibited in the museum mostly dated from the mid-Ching dynasty to the early years of the Republic. Household, travel, and recreational items, as well as religious implements and celebratory artifacts are displayed for visitors.

Fort Provintia
Fort Provintia was built in 1653 by the Dutch during their colonization of Taiwan and was eventually surrendered to Koxinga. Since 1945, the site has been known as "Chihkan Tower", a phonetic derivation from "Sakam" (also spelled "Chakam" or "Sakkam"). In addition to the site's architectural and artistic significance, its library of dictionaries and business transactions documents the Siraya language spoken by the native inhabitants of the region during Dutch rule.

Bashian Caves
Bashian Caves or Baxian Caves are sea caves located in the east coast of Changbin Township, Taitung County, Taiwan.
Bashian Cave possesses a distinctive eroded look and is famous for ruins dating from the Old Stone Age. There are 10-plus caves on the 100 metres (328 ft) high precipice, each of a different size and depth. Originally the caverns were below sea level, allowing waves to shape them, but now they are located on a high cliff—proof of the East Coast's changing surface.
Yilan Brick Kiln
In 1831, Yilan established its first own brick klin due to the discoveries of sites around Yilan which has high viscosity clay, which was suitable for bricks making. The Yilan Brick Kiln was originally established as Chen He Cheng Kiln Factory. It was later changed to Yilan Brick Kiln and ended its operation in the 1980s. In 1999, the Yilan County Government planned to build residential buildings within the area. However, after various oppositions from the local residents, the kiln was finally preserved.

Liyu Lake
After the development of the lake into a scenic spot, the lake becomes the site of various recreational activities, such as light boat sailing, water sports, etc. It has single lane bicycle path around 5 km encircling the lake and footpaths for strolling along the shore. The Chinan National Forest Recreation Area and Mukumugi surrounding the lake displays the old logging trains and the logging displays and aboriginal culture respectively. Every year in April, thousand of fireflies flash above the lake.

Former Dinglinzihbian Police Station
The police station building was originally built in February 1898 as Yuanding Linzibian Police Station at Fusing Street. Soon, public school, market and township office were set up around the neighborhood, turning the area into a political and economic center for Linyuan. Ever since, the abandoned building served as police dormitory building with parts of the building remained unoccupied.

High-Heel Wedding Church
The church was constructed to commemorate the blackfoot disease outbreak in the 1950s. The construction was completed on 10 January 2016 and was opened for trial in February 2016. It was officially opened on 23 July 2016.
Budai Township
Heping Island Park
Strong wind over the years had eroded the coastal area of Heping Island, forming rocks with special shapes. The park used to be under the military control for a long period of time. However, the ban was gradually lifted in the 1960s and 1970s. Since then, more tourists have come to the area. Parts of the parks were close starting the end of 2010 and was fully reopened to the public in June 2012.

Republic of China. It is located in Zhongzheng District,
Taipei, Taiwan.
In February 2017 Taiwan's Ministry of Culture announced plans to transform the hall into a national center for “facing history, recognizing agony, and respecting human rights.”
